Maid of Honor I My Yes Person

Veronica is my ride-or-die, my built-in hype woman, and the reason at least 60% of my stories begin with, “So we had an idea…” She is the life of every party and somehow also the calm in my chaos — even though she’s usually right there causing it with me.

She’s my “yes” person in every sense of the word. Need to book the trip? Yes. Stay out too late? Yes. Laugh until we cry? Absolutely yes. She has been by my side through every high, every low, and every wildly unnecessary decision.

There is no one else I could imagine standing next to me as my Maid of Honor. She’s not just my best friend, she’s the other half of my idiot as my Dad called us, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

taylor

Taylor is my person. The one I absolutely should not be sitting next to during any serious function because we will lock eyes and start laughing at the worst possible moment.

She is beautiful inside and out — the kind of friend who radiates warmth, loyalty, and quiet strength. But also would move to another country with me based on vibes alone. Naturally gifted, wildly competitive, and slightly infuriating in the best way — but always, always in my corner.

If you see her trying to gain control of the aux cord during the wedding, or see us whispering during the quiet moments… just know we’re trying our best.

My Bad Influence in Serious Situations

kennedy

The One Who Doesn't Have an Inside Voice

Kennedy brings the fire, the passion, and absolutely zero indoor voice to my life. We can talk for hours about everything and nothing, and we genuinely do not know how to act our age — especially if there’s a sturdy table, bottle service, and the right song playing.

She has strong opinions on Golden Girls, loves a good fur coat, and does not trust technology. At one point she was convinced someone hacked her Uber Eats to repeatedly order Taco Bell… only to discover it was just her. Drunk. Which feels exactly right.

But beneath the spice and chaos is one of the most loyal, loving hearts I know. Life is louder, brighter, and infinitely more entertaining with her in it.

mikki

The One I Had to Win Over

Mikki didn’t want to be my friend at first. She thought I was “too extra.” (Which… fair.) But persistence is one of my love languages, and eventually, I wore her down.

We are opposites in almost every way — and somehow, that’s exactly why it works. She balances me. Grounds me. Occasionally roasts me. She loves margaritas, true crime docs, and has never once taken a photo without holding a drink or random object in her hand like it’s a security blanket.

She may have tried to resist me, but now she’s stuck for life — and I wouldn’t trade our perfectly imperfect friendship for anything.

natalie

My (not so little anymore) Cousin

Natalie is my baby cousin and one of the greatest blessings in my life. She has a wisdom and steadiness beyond her years — and a heart that’s even bigger.

She is always down for a party… and equally down for a 9 p.m. bedtime. The balance we all aspire to.

Watching her grow into the woman she’s becoming has been such a gift. Having her stand beside me on this day means more than I can put into words.

chelsea

Chelsea has always been the steady one. As Veronica’s older sister and our unofficial sorority “adult,” she was the reason most of us made it through our twenties in one piece.

Smarter than all of us (truly), wildly reliable, and fiercely protective, she is the person you call when things get real. Need legal advice? Call Chelsea. Hypothetically need to be bailed out of jail? Definitely call Chelsea.

She’s the anchor in our chaos, the voice of reason in the group chat, and the woman you want in your corner for absolutely anything life throws your way. After all, someone has to keep this group semi-functional.

The One We'd Call From Jail

paige

Sunshine in Human Form

Paige is sunshine in human form. The most non-judgmental, easy-to-talk-to, safe-space kind of person you’ll ever meet.

She loves Taylor Swift with her whole heart (as she should), and she carries a gentleness that makes everyone around her feel seen and understood.

When life feels overwhelming, she’s the calm voice and open arms, or spontaneous dance party, that you need.

I’m endlessly grateful for her sweet, steady love.

lyss

The Honorary Cousin

Lyss may look like she stepped out of a magazine — effortlessly beautiful, calm, and put together. But don’t be fooled. On the inside? Certified crazy fun in the best possible way. If you hear someone scream singing from the pool at 2 AM, or someone showing breakdance moves wearing five inch heels- you’ve found her.

As Natalie’s best friend and my honorary cousin, she’s been woven into our family and friend group in the most natural, beautiful way. She brings energy, laughter, and a little unpredictability to every room — which means Costa Rica is not ready.
